Okay, this has been bothering me for weeks and now that our blog is back, I have a proper place to complain about it. What is up with all of the tv shows showing you what is “coming up next” right before they go to commercial? Just go to commercial! I’m about to see it in five minutes anyway! I don’t know when they all started doing that, but I’m noticing it more and more. Do they think that our attention span is so limited that they need to give us a teaser so we’ll keep watching? Or are their attention spans so short that they couldn’t come up with enough show to fill up the 22 minutes left after the commercial breaks? Either way, it’s irritating. Ah. I feel so much better now!

I think it’s worse because we have the media center. Since we don’t watch it in real-time anyways, we’ll see it again in more like 5 seconds. I say we blame the writers strike.
I agree with D. Now that I have a Tivo, I try to FF before the teasers start because I don’t want to give away what’s going to happen 5 seconds later.
Do you guys talk to each other at home, or just reply to each other on the blog? Too funny!
I saw something on tv not that long ago that said the networks put those there since now so many people use DVRs and TiVos that a lot of people don’t see commericials so this is there way of promoting their shows. I guess that makes sense, but they are so annoying!! Especially when you’re already planning on watching the show anyways.
